The Drug Information
Center (DIC)
This Centre was established in 1987. The services are :-

to provide precise and accurate information to inquiries related to drug
and patient-drug matters ;

to act as a resource centre for text-related and up-to-date data on drugs ;

to update the MOH drug formulary ;
-
to reporte Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) and ;
-
to promote continuing educational programme for the pharmacy staff.
This Service is currently handled by a Pharmacist, with the help of a senior
pharmacy assistant. All queries are documented for referral purposes.
